Sustainability and ethical practice are central to AOI. Every step of the design process is guided by the principle that it should leave a positive impact, beginning with the choice of materials and where each product is made. AOI guarantees its products are crafted to the highest standard, a commitment made possible through a slower pace of production and limited edition collectible design.

Our sustainable practices include minimal net carbon emissions, soy-based inks for packaging and collateral, limited production to avoid waste, and ethically sourced materials. All packaging is 100% recyclable, FSC certified, and composed of acid-free, compostable tissue paper and cardboard.

Our collectibles are manufactured in close proximity to our studio, allowing our Creative Director and teams to oversee every detail, visit the units throughout the development phases, and ensure each step of the traditional supply chain aligns with ethical standards. Concepts are researched and developed thoroughly, then produced where the craft is best known to originate. Transparency is maintained at every stage, with careful oversight of each part of the production process.

AOI prioritizes quality over quantity, making considered decisions that support the planet. Each collectible is developed with time, care, and attention, fostering a personal connection between maker and object.
